The Ultimate Soccer Weekend
DATES: December 19th – 21st, 2025
LOCATION: The Sagamore Hotel
The Maccabi Cup is a multi-day soccer tournament and community celebration engaging Jewish athletes, families, Maccabi USA alumni and supporters. Competition runs on turf and beach, with Shabbat and Hanukkah programming that deepens engagement and connection to Judaism through sports.
TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
- Divisions: Youth & Open (Men’s and Women’s), Men’s 35+ Masters Division
- Team Size: 6–10 players per team
- Free Agent Option: Individuals may register without a team and will be assigned to rosters as needed
- Matches: Small-sided games (5v5) on grass fields and beach
- Format: Teams may register for either beach or grass tournaments, or for both
- Team Goals: 8 teams per division, with a maximum of 16 teams in select divisions
- Prizes: Cash Prize for winning teams as well as perks.
EVENT SCHEDULE
- Friday Afternoon: Games; Field & Beach
- Friday Night: Shabbat Dinner / Candle Lighting
- Saturday Afternoon: Shabbat Beach Party (family-friendly) / M25 Open Men’s Beach Soccer Training Session
- Saturday Night: Candle Lighting / Field Games
- Sunday: Playoff & Championship Games, MVP Ceremony & Hannukah Program
