We are disheartened to hear that Team Ramat Gan – the top Israeli 3x3 men’s basketball team, which includes Maccabi USA alum Niv Konfino – has been excluded from an Olympic qualifying tournament in Versailles due to their country of origin. Sports should provide an opportunity for athletes of... all backgrounds to participate and we are proud to support all Israeli teams and athletes looking to qualify for the Olympic Games, continuing to build Jewish pride through sports.
