Extensive Coverage of the Maccabiah

Given the darnkess brought by today’s horrific attack on the Jewish community of Sydney, it feels even more important to bring light into the world this Hanukkah. The Maccabi USA community did just that this morning as we gathered at our inaugural Medal of Honor event. We concluded with a ...communal lighting led by Rabbi Ami Monson, our delegation rabbi for next summer’s Maccabiah. As we light the menorah, may we be reminded of the strength of our community, the power of remembrance, and the light we carry forward together, even in the darkest of times.

We were devastated to wake up to the news of the heinous attack on the Sydney Jewish community as they ushered in the first night of Hanukkah. Maccabi USA stands with Chabad of Bondi and sends our love and support to Maccabi Australia and the entire Australian Jewish community.

May the ...memories of those we lost be a blessing and the may the injured have a full and speedy recovery.

Introducing the @manischewitzco Athletic Honor Society, honoring the best Jewish college athletes in the NCAA! This is a national competition celebrating the grit, talent, spirit, and pride of Jewish NCAA athletes across the country, spotlighting Jewish excellence.

Two winners (Men’s and... Women’s Divisions) will receive $10,000, their likeness on a matzo box, and will be honored by the @jewishsportshof
