MACCABI USA ANNOUNCES U18 BOYS’ 3v3 BASKETBALL
ROSTER FOR THE 21ST MACCABIAH

Philadelphia, PA, May 12, 2022 – Maccabi USA and Youth Boys’ Basketball Chairs Mitchell Kurtz and Steve Gittleman are pleased to announce the roster for the U18 Boys’ 3v3 Basketball team that will be competing at the 21st Maccabiah in Israel this July. The 8-athlete squad will be led by Head Coach Ben Tanoff (Simpsonville, SC).

“It is an absolute honor to have been selected to coach the U18 boys’ 3v3 basketball team at this summer’s Maccabiah Games,” said head coach Tanoff. “Being a Jewish coach is something incredibly important to me and I do not take this appointment lightly. We have two extremely talented teams participating in the 3v3 competition. These two teams and this summer’s games are particularly special as it is the first summer the USA delegation is sponsoring U18 3v3 teams. I look forward to the athletic and Jewish journey ahead culminating in bringing home the gold and silver medals.”For more information, please contact Mackenzie Mager, Associate Program Officer, at mmager@maccabiusa.com or 215.561.6900.
