MACCABI USA ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Philadelphia, PA, January 25, 2018 – Jeff Bukantz, President of Maccabi USA, announced the hiring of David Snyder to succeed Jed Margolis who is retiring as Executive Director of Maccabi USA on January 31, 2018. Margolis served as Maccabi USA’s Executive Director for the past 16 years and was a volunteer during the previous 28 years while he worked in JCC’s, following his basketball stint in the 1973 Maccabiah Games. 

Snyder recently served as Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of Southern New Jersey. Prior to that he was Area Director of AIPAC in Philadelphia, Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations at Temple University, and National Future Leadership Director of Jewish National Fund. He is a member of M’kor Shalom Synagogue in Cherry Hill, NJ where he lives with his wife and three children, Ben, Josh, and Sam.
