Philadelphia, PA, April 17, 2019 – Maccabi USA Masters 55+ Soccer Co-Chairs Ken Kramer, Brian Kronick, and Alec Mahrer along with Head Coach Eric Brief and Assistant Coach Gary Bernstein are pleased to announce the Masters 55+ Soccer Team for the 14th Pan American Maccabi Games which will take place July 5-15, 2019 in Mexico City, Mexico. Maccabi USA will bring a team of 400+ athletes who will join the other 2,500 Jewish athletes from 19 countries, participating in 24 different sports.

The athletes are David Alhadeff of Buffalo Grove, IL; James Benjamin of Atlanta, GA; Benjamin Bressler of Boulder, CO; Scott Cohen of Wayne, NJ; Philip Fishel of Teaneck, NJ; Ian Grusd of Colts Neck, NJ; Charles Guevara of Short Hills, NJ; Gordon Harris of Lexington, MA; Stuart Hochberger of Summit, NJ; Daniel Indech of Scottsdale, AZ; Donald Kent of New York, NY; Brian Kronick of New York, NJ; Robert Lazarus of South Orange, NJ; Simon Mermelstein of San Jose, Costa Rica; Russell Rosenberg of Rolling Meadows, IL; Richard Shakter of Lexington, MA; Howard Snyder of Bryn Mawr, PA; David Solomon of Radnor, PA; David Warren of New York, NY; Bruce Winkelstein of Warwick, NY; Mark Wisnevitz of Arlington Heights, IL.

The Games are hosted by the Confederacion Latinoamericana Maccabi (CLAM). They are conducted in cooperation with Maccabi World Union and are held every four years, two years after the Maccabiah is held. The Pan American Maccabi Games are a high-level athletic competition for Jewish athletes all over the world aimed at connecting Jews from the Diaspora.
