MACCABI USA ANNOUNCES THE YOUTH MEN’S SOCCER TEAM FOR THE 14TH PAN AMERICAN MACCABI GAMES
Philadelphia, PA, February 25, 2019 – The Maccabi USA Youth Men’s Soccer Chair Bryan Pollack, along with Head Coach Josh Pransky and Assistant Coach Jesse Goldberg are pleased to announce the Youth Men’s Soccer Team for the 14th Pan American Maccabi Games which will take place July 5-15, 2019 in Mexico City, Mexico. Maccabi USA will bring a team of 400+ athletes who will join the other 2,500 Jewish athletes from 19 countries, participating in 24 different sports.
Head Coach Pransky and Assistant Coach Goldberg are both Assistant Coaches of the Men’s Soccer Team at Yeshiva University in New York. The athletes are Aidan Aisiks of New York, NY; Sebastian Baredes of Aventura, FL; Amit Bitton of Agoura Hills, CA; Ori Bitton of Agoura Hills, CA; Gabriel Einhorn of Teaneck, NJ; Brett Freeman of Towaco, NJ; Tsegaye Griver of New York, NY; David Handen of El Dorado Hills, CA; Ilan Karchmer of Los Altos, CA; Maxwell Katz of Fox Point, WI; Adam Kochman of Glen Rock, NJ; Yali Levy of New York, NY; Jackson Meli of New York, NY; David Mizrahi of Aventura, FL; Max Mogul of New York, NY; Dor Moskowitz of Sunnyvale, CA; Noah Pearlman of Tampa, FL; Will Popper of Needham, MA; Tyler Schlonsky of New Albany, OH; Caleb Shoup of Ann Arbor, MI; Jeremy Smithline of Newtown, PA; and Henry Tapper of Minnetonka, MN.
The Games are hosted by the Confederacion Latinoamericana Maccabi (CLAM). They are conducted in cooperation with Maccabi World Union and are held every four years, two years after the Maccabiah is held. The Pan American Maccabi Games are a high-level athletic competition for Jewish athletes all over the world aimed at connecting Jews from the Diaspora.
