Sloane Milstein, USA 19th Maccabiah Equestrian Chair, is working to recruit both riders and coaches to represent the USA in both team and individual events. The competition specifications have not been completed, but we know that the 19th Maccabiah International Sports Committee is planning on a Show Jumping competition at 1.3m and 1.4m  and Dressage to be held at Prix St. George, FEI Challenge Medium and Advance level.

While it is preferred that competitors transport their own horses, the possibility of borrowed horses is being examined in order to help the competitors who cannot bring their own horses. The competitions will be conducted according to FEI regulations and according to the number of entries.  Discipline levels may be change due to competitor and horses registrations so all highly competitive riders should apply.

The 19th Maccabiah USA Organizing Committee is working to field a USA Team that is 1000+ strong and will be the largest traveling delegation from the USA to participate in any international sporting event.

The Maccabiah is more than an international sporting competition; it is a celebration of Jewish culture, unity and pride.  Israel Connect, Maccabi USA’s unique cultural and educational program, takes place for seven days prior to the start of the Games. All Open, Youth and Juniors athletes participate in the program where they have the opportunity to tour historical and religious sites, take part in cultural identity seminars and become a B’nai Mitzvah, all while bonding with each other. Maccabi USA uses Sports to build Jewish Pride.
